SAMLI

SAMLI is a Hungarian word meaning a; “kitchen stool”

Our story started a way back when Gary’s friends and family used to sit middle of the kitchen on an old SAMLI and have their haircut by him.

His dream became reality in 2018 summer when SAMLI opened it’s door to it’s customers in the sunny St. Leonards, a not so small sea side town on the south coast of England.

Picked up a scissors and cutting hair since he was 16 - trained by Toni&Guy led to create a colourful rustic hair and beauty studio. Where our team are slowly growing since 2022 when a great and creative hairstylist Rhianna joined the SAMLI family.

From the original idea of “cuts and coffee” grew so much more over the years, where you can get a piece of art on your nails by talented Eleni + have your hair tailored to something what you would never imagined, to be possible.

As the motto/mantra/drive and belief of SAMLI;

Haircut is an opportunity!

.. a chance to feel better, to look better, to care or don’t!

.. To create or receive or inspire.
